For the first time this year, UK Jewish Film has launched the Young Jury Award to select and present the best short film during the festival. Our jury of twelve young people aged sixteen to thirty have been chosen from an extremely strong field of candidates. From diverse backgrounds and with a shared passion for film these young jurors bring a fresh perspective to this year’s slate of shorts. For the final award ceremony, they watched, critiqued and debated a fantastic selection of new Jewish films from which they selected their favourites. The award ceremony was led and delivered by the young jurors themselves.
