Shortly after fighting in the Yom Kippur war, Amos Nachoum left Israel for the US. Over the last four decades he has become a world-renowned wildlife photographer, taking spectacular up-close pictures of some of the most fascinating – and deadliest – marine animals, including whales and sharks. As he nears the end of his career and having tried once to capture a polar bear on camera – an assignment that almost got him killed – he decided to give it one last chance. Picture of His Life follows Nachoum to the Arctic Ocean on his mission to reach his ultimate professional – and personal – goal, while presenting us with magnificent views of sea life.

Nominated – Best Israeli Film, Docaviv Film Festival 2019
