Sigal and Yossi, ex-Israeli social climbers, invite a group of expats (and a French plus one) to a Shabbat dinner at their Hollywood Hills mansion. Their sincere efforts to make a good impression come to nothing when tensions between guests erupt, resulting in a spectacularly bloody evening. Israeli-American director Michael Mayer (Out in the Dark) created a wildly funny – and gory – comedy horror film which is also a sharp satire on the aspirations of Israelis abroad.
Warning: film contains scenes of extreme violence.
