The 2nd Geneva International Jewish Film Festival took place from 21-25 March 2012 and opened to packed houses with the Swiss Premiere of Gei Oni. Director Dan Wolman and lead actor Zion Ashkenazi were in attendance and took part in a Q&A after the screening.
The Festival featured 20 outstanding features, documentaries and shorts; films included the Oscar nominated Footnote; Mahler on the Couch, revealing the extraordinary encounter between Mahler and Freud; Remembrance, the gripping love story that won Best Feature Film at 2011 UKJFF in London; Five Brothers, an entertaining crime thriller from director Alexandre Arcady; and My Best Enemy, fast paced intrigue and action in wartime Vienna.
