Sir Frank Lowy AC founded global shopping centre company Westfield in 1960 and served as its Executive Chairman for 50 years. He is Chairman of the Lowy Institute and the Institute for National Securities Studies. He served on the board of the Reserve Bank of Australia for 10 years, as President of the board of Trustees of the Art Gallery of NSW and as Chairman of Football Federation Australia (2003 – 2015). He has received numerous honours for his business and philanthropic activities including being made a Knight Bachelor in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2017.
