Linda studied Film and Drama at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She made her first film in 1987 while working for the Black Sash (anti-apartheid women’s organisation) in South Africa. She moved to the UK, worked in television as a researcher, and while teaching film at Brighton’s City College joined Judy Ironside and a small group as one the first Board Members of the UKJF – then  The Brighton Jewish Film Festival.  Linda now works  in research and technology consulting, but one of her  highlights of the year is presenting the UKJF program at the annual Limmud conference.
