Jeremy Shoham (alto and soprano sax) has played on the London jazz scene for the last 40 years and started out playing saxophone on the cruise liners and then did a stint in the west end playing in a couple of musicals, and joined Roland Perrin’s ‘Evidence’ playing a hybrid of jazz and World Music for 8 years touring extensively in England and France. In 1996, he formed his own group called Just East of Jazz playing a mixture of jazz and East European influenced music. Over the past 10 years Jeremy has been running his own jazz club (Safari jazz and Chandos Arms Jazz) in North London forming the core of the house band for touring and invited guests.
