Born and educated to high school level in Zimbabwe.  Graduated, B.Comm, from University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1977.  Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (through KPMG) in London in 1983. His career has included the successful listing of a Public Property Company, a director of a Trade Finance Company and the establishment and development of Trust and Asset Management Companies. For over 25 years he has specialised in asset management and investment research with an emphasis on selection and management of Hedge Fund investments. As Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) he was responsible for the creation, management and seeding of many different multi-strategy hedge Funds of Funds with a successful public track record starting in 1991, ultimately managing investment assets in excess of $1.8bn. Currently acts as CIO for Kyte Capital Advisors. He has other business interests and is on the Advisory Board of an Israel based Management Team that is focused on identifying direct investments in Agriculture, Water and Energy based businesses. He is chairman of British Friends of Merchavim and been a Trustee of various charitable organisations involved in humanities, arts and sports.
