UK Jewish Film is a registered charity, now celebrating its 25th year. Through our world-class festival and our year-round programme we bring communities together, large and small, nationwide, to celebrate and explore Jewish life and history with pride.

Please help us protect our future so that we can continue to bring Jewish films to audiences, educate the wider public through film about Jewish life and experience, and support a new generation of young filmmakers in exploring Jewish subjects in film. That includes our work in schools, which has had a huge impact on thousands of school students, using film to challenge and combat anti-Jewish hatred.

UK Jewish Film is an independent charity with no regular funding and we rely on the generosity of supporters like you. If you or any of your family have enjoyed attending the UK Jewish Film Festival over the years or watching our films please consider helping to ensure that others can do the same in the years to come. Even a small gift can have a major impact on our work.

There are three main types of gift that you might consider leaving to UK Jewish Film:

Residuary Legacy

A share of your estate known as a ‘residuary legacy’. This is a percentage of what remains of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid.

One of the advantages of a residuary legacy is that it won’t be affected by inflation as its value will change in line with the value of your estate. This means you’re less likely to need to amend it in the future.

Specific Sum

Known as a ‘pecuniary legacy’ this is simply a fixed amount of money.

Specific Item

It could be something valuable such as an antique, property or even shares. If you leave a gift to UK Jewish Film in your Will, it will not be included when valuing your estate for inheritance tax purposes. The value of your gift will be dedicated from your estate before inheritance tax is applied as it could reduce the amount of tax paid.
