John Simons’ shop in Marylebone has long been the go-to destination for Britain’s best-dressed men. Starting out in Hackney in the early 1960s, Simons was the first to import to the UK the Ivy League style so loved by fashion-obsessed mods; and he gave the Harrington jacket its name. Paul Weller, Suggs and Robert Elms are only a few of the fans who learned a trick or two from Simons. They, alongside family, friends and the man himself, celebrate a true British institution, and over fifty years of exceptionally good taste.
