SPECIAL PREVIEW SCREENING
Screening at Edinburgh Filmhouse and Manchester HOME as part of our UK Jewish Film: Back to the Cinema summer season.
Aharon has devoted his life to creating a protective environment for his autistic son Uri, while ignoring his own needs. When the time comes for the now grown up Uri to move to a supported living residence, Aharon resists. Sensing that his son is not yet ready for such a radical change, Aharon gradually realises that he, too, finds it hard to let go. Israeli director Nir Bergman’s (Broken Wings, In Treatment) new film, which featured in Cannes Film Festival’s 2020 Official Selection, is a tender and loving portrayal of a father-son relationship.
