Herzl is an unemployed chef living at home with his doting Jewish mother. A new job as a dishwasher at a Japanese restaurant introduces him to the world of Sumo wrestling. Falling in love with the sport, and with the help of Sumo Master Kitano, Herzl, and many of his equally overweight friends, leave their dreams of slimming down behind and instead celebrate their hitherto frowned upon heftiness. A heart-warming and highly original Israeli comedy about self-acceptance, and, as Jewish tradition dictates, finishing one’s plate.
