Jonathan Lewis has been a member of the Board of UK Jewish Film for more than seven years and during that time has seen the organisation grow in importance and stature. He is passionate about film and is particularly interested in French and Israeli cinema. His other cultural interest is 20th Century British Art.
He studied Economics at Manchester University at which time he was also known for being the British Junior Sabre Champion. He went on to become a lawyer with DJFreeman. He is currently a real estate partner in the international law firm CMS, a firm which is also well known for its involvement in the film industry.
Jonathan is married to Veronique and they have four children. They have a home in Israel which they visit frequently. His previous communal roles have included being a Trustee of UJS Hillel and a governor of Immanuel College
