Jonathan Lewis has been a member of the Board of UK Jewish Film for more than seven years and during that time has seen the organisation grow in importance and stature. He is passionate about film and is particularly interested in French and Israeli cinema. His other cultural interest is 20th Century British Art.
He studied Economics at Manchester University at which time he was also known for being the British Junior Sabre Champion. He went on to become a lawyer with DJ Freeman. He is currently an independent real estate consultant and previously was a partner in the international law firm CMS, which is also well known for its involvement in the film industry.
Jonathan has four children and a home in Israel which he visits frequently. His previous communal roles have included being a Trustee of UJS Hillel and a governor of Immanuel College
