Anne Joseph is a freelance journalist who writes about Jewish arts and culture. She is a film reviewer for the Jewish Chronicle and a regular contributor to the Times of Israel and the Forward newspapers. Her work has appeared in the TLS and TES magazine.
For the last nine years Anne has been on the selection panel for Tel Aviv University (TAU) Trust’s ‘Night of the Movies’ – an annual event in London that showcases short films made by students from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television.
Anne has edited two published books: From the Edge of the World (Vallentine Mitchell, 2003), a compilation of letters and stories by Jewish refugees and The Sea of Azov (Five Leaves, 2009), a collection of short stories, published in association with the charity World Jewish Relief (WJR).
Anne holds an MA in World Cinema from Birkbeck, University of London (2012-2014) where she specialised in Israeli film.
