Faith on Film in Manchester

UK Jewish Film’s interfaith partnership project with the 3FF (Three Faiths Forum), Radical Middle Way and Insight Film is holding two FREE events to explore the use of film as a tool to open up conversations around faith, identity and belief.

The initial event will be an opportunity to watch the film ‘Besa – The Promise, the fascinating documentary revealing the story of Muslim Albanians who risked their lives sheltering Jews during the Holocaust. The screening of the film will be followed by dinner and discussion.

A follow-up event will examine film clips from a selection of films that explore questions around faith, identity and belief as stimulus for discussion. Attendees will receive a toolkit around faith and film to take back to communities with a focus on planning future intercultural projects.

Time: Thursday 25 Feb 6-9pm and Thursday 10 March 6-9pm

Place: Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama, The University of Manchester, Bridgeford Street, Manchester M13 9PL
