London-based designer and filmmaker Marina Willer tells the story of her father, a member of one of the 12 Jewish families who survived the war in Prague. After the war, he immigrated to Brazil, where Marina was born, and became an architect. Narrated by the late Tim Pigott Smith (Quantum Solace) and shot by Academy Award nominee Cesar Charlone (City of God), Red Trees is a beautiful and moving meditation on memory, survival and migration.
