On 18th June 1994, a car bomb explodes outside the Jewish Community Centre in Buenos Aires, killing 85 people and injuring hundreds. In the wake of the attack Anita is disoriented and wanders the city in search of her mother who has not returned to their shop.
In the meanwhile, her brother Ariel begins his desperate search for Anita in the hope that she was not caught up in the terrorist attack. In this very touching Argentinian dramatic feature Anita Feldman (an extraordinary debut performance by Alejandra Manzo) lives alone with her mother (Oscar nominee Norma Aleandro, Only Human). Anita uniquely depicts the very special characteristics of a young woman with Downs Syndrome who lives and works with her mother in their small stationery store in the Jewish neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. Their safe and familiar routine seems set to continue forever until this fateful day.
