Le Long Weekend, a debut Mini-Festival celebrating contemporary French cinema took place from 8-12 May.
From Populaire, a delightful Audrey Hepburn-esque rom-com set in 1950s, to What The Day Owes The Night, a grand epic tale of impossible love from the director of Five Brothers, and (Almost) Charming a hugely entertaining road comedy written by Luc Besson, Le Long Weekend offered a spectacularly chic weekend of fabulous French films and events.
Double Oscar winning director Costa-Gavras and world class film producer Michelle Ray Gavras were the guests of honour. Costa-Gavras introduced the UK Premiere screening of Capital and answered post-screening Q&A session.
A Parisian-style brunch screening with coffee & croissants was another successful event.
