“The beautiful, atmospheric photography and Klein’s magnificent work in the lead, make Mountain worth seeing.” – The Jerusalem Post
A stunning film with a powerful punch from first-time Israeli writer-director Yaelle Kayam. Tzvia is a devout woman, married with children, yet inside she feels empty and trapped. Left alone most days in the family’s Mount of Olives home, she has a deadening routine. One evening she goes for a stroll in the nearby cemetery where she observes the prostitutes and drug addicts who inhabit it at night. This encounter awakens in her new unspoken desires and an urgent need for change, no matter what the cost.
