This beautiful debut feature from Yehonatan Indursky, the creator of hit TV series Shtisel, is a gentle and whimsical exploration of Tel Aviv’s ultra-Orthodox suburb. Nachman’s wife has left him and now he is in sole charge of his intense and thoughtful young daughter, Chani. When they are not filling up on food at weddings or shivas of people they have never met, Nachman is scratching a living by driving schnorrers (scroungers) around B’nei B’rak, preying on local wealthy families with elaborate tall stories designed to open their wallets. A heartbreaking tale of a little known religious community.
